Brief, method and specification.
The brief
An exposed waterfront terrace needed a warm, durable surface that would strengthen rather than interrupt its view to the sea.
The challenge
The deck build-up had to resolve drainage, services and intense coastal exposure while preserving a calm, continuous board rhythm.
Our work
Elite surveyed the slab, built a measured support structure and fixed the exterior boards from the architecture's longest waterfront axis.
The result
A generous timber plane now runs beneath the loungers and carries the eye directly to the horizon.
